Cake Mix Cookies (Creamsicle)

Peanut Butter Cereal Bars

1 stick of butter

1 10 oz package of mini marshmallows

1 Box of Reese Puff cereal (I bought generic)

1 Hershey Bar

1 heaping tablespoon of peanut butter.

Melt butter in a large stock pot over medium heat, once completely melted, add bag of marshmallows. Stir to coat and continue stirring until marshmallows are completely melted and smooth.  Remove from heat, and add entire box of cereal. Moving quickly, fold the cereal into the marshmallow mixture until all cereal pieces are coated.

Pour mixture into a greased 13×9 dish.

Here’s where it gets sticky, literally.

Spray a piece of wax paper with non stick spray and use the paper to gently push the cereal and even the bars out.

Next, take the peanut butter and place it in a small microwave safe dish. Place in the microwave for 30 seconds or until smooth and runny. When PB is pourable, slowly drizzle over the bars.

Now, for the chocolate: Break the Hershey bar up into pieces, and place in another microwave safe dish. Put in the microwave for about 1 minute on 50% power. Check the chocolate, and add more time in small increments, if needed. But always heat the chocolate on 50% power.

When the chocolate is smooth, drizzle it over the bars as well.

Allow to cool, or throw the bars in the fridge if you need them right away.

But whenever you’re ready, cut and serve.
