Adam and I have been married 4 years TODAY!

I’ve wanted to share some photos and memories of my special day, and was waiting for today so I could do just that.

But not in a “shove it in yo face” kind of way!

I can hardly believe that 4 years went by so fast.

Not to mention the 7 years together before he “put a ring on it”.

Our wedding day started out very rainy. In fact, I was all by myself getting my hair did and the rain was just coming down. I made it home from the salon with a plastic bag on my head (I know, probably not the smartest decision, but I paid $75 for my up-do, and I wasn’t about to let it get all jacked up). and I just sat on the couch and cried, cried, cried. I called my mother only to have my Dad tell me that she “refuses to come out of her bedroom until the rain stops”.

WHAT?!

Mother of the Bride VS Mother Nature.

Mother nature was kind to us, and stopped the rain. She gave us sunshine and a slight breeze.

My freezing bridesmaids might disagree with the whole “slight breeze” thing.

We knew we wanted a fall wedding right away. And immediately after getting engaged we started thinking about all the fall themed things we could incorporate in to our special day. Candy and cider and pumpkins, OH MY!

We had some awesome friends and family serve as our wedding party.

For the maids, we had my sister Kate, and my friends Meghan, Alyse and Sara.

The groomsmen were Adam’s brothers, Grant and Brad, my brother Andy and our friend Tony.

It was the happiest day of my life!
