Summer Yummies!!

Adam and I headed over to the Allentown Art Festival, it wasn’t as crowded as usual, maybe due to the cooler temps.

I was freezing. :(

But walking around and looking at all the art distracted me. We also followed this band around, they were JAMMIN!!

But I have to say my favorite part of festivals is all the delicious foods that only seem to be available in summer. Fried dough, candy/caramel apples, ice cream, funnel cakes, fried oreos/twinkies etc. I could go on and on. I had my eye on the turkey legs.

But I resisted the temptation. I don’t know how I did it. We decided to have a late lunch, early dinner at ETS (Elmwood Taco & Subs). I’ve never been there, and I was excited to get me a taco! Weeeell, first of all, it’s on the pricey side. I had 2 chicken tacos, and I had to pay an EXTRA $1.50 for chicken. WHAT!? And secondly, it wasn’t even that good. Should have just stuck with the tried and true Mighty Taco.

It did come with a side of chips, which, with salsa, served as my dinner later on. :)

We also went into Price Rite supermarket on Elmwood. Where I found these babies…

I love you Keebler elves

I didn’t get them either, but are you kidding me? A year round Samoa (girl scout cookie), I will get you next time, my pretty.

I’m trying to find the energy to squeeze in today’s P90X.

So, now, I have a question for you. What is your favorite summer treat?

I think mine would have to be a cinnamon candy apple.
